Great interest in Sweden's first monster movie

Ever since the trailer/pilot for the upcoming motion picture ZONE 261 was published on the film's website (www.zone261.com), the production company Kruthuset has received e-mails almost daily from people longing to see the movie. "From foreign distributors to devoted fans around the world - we're excited that so many people are so curious about Sweden's first contribution to the genre," says Fredrik Hiller, producer and director of Zone 261.

The filmmakers promise a breath-taking action movie with a surprising message, rarely found in the genre. "Zone 261 has a turning point that is as profound and as surprising as the one in Fight Club. We hope to turn not only the story and genre on its ear, but also how we regard each other," says producer Thabo Malmén.

The production company is joining the ranks of filmmakers raising finance through crowdfunding. "We're having a release party for the film's crowdfunding site at the nightclub The Living Room in Stockholm on November 14," says press relations manager David Hanna. "If you feel like investing in the film, you need only go to the website - www.zone261.com - and follow the instructions."

Efforts to find partners, sponsors and financiers are in full swing, and the movie is scheduled to shoot next year. "We're also very excited that Dragomir Mrsic, currently making a name in Hollywood, has accepted to join the cast", finishes Thabo Malmén.
